Dr N K Venkataramana, an eminent and well known Neurosurgeon, is the Director of ANSI. Dr. Venkataramana is the winner of the prestigious Rajyotsava Award during 2009 for his contribution in the field of Neurosurgery. He graduated form S.V. Medical College, Tirupathi, A.P. He completed his PG training from the prestigious National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences, Bangalore. He later worked as a faculty member in the same institute. In 1992 he joined Manipal Hospital Bangalore as a consultant. Since 2007 he is been working at BGS Global Hospital, Bangalore as its Vice-Chairman. He has numerous publications for his credit and has contributed immensely to the field of Neurosurgery. His interests are Pediatric Neurosurgery, Stem Cell & Regenerative medicine, Endoscopic Surgery, Surgery for Trigeminal Neuralgia, Surgery for Movement Disorders besides Vascular Neurosurgery etc.       Dr. Shailesh A V Rao, is a senior neurosurgeon who was working as Professor of Neurosurgery at the prestigious St. John's Medical College Hospital, Bangalore. Dr. Shailesh graduated from Bangalore Medical College and later post graduated from National Institute of Mental Health & Neuro Sciences, Bangalore. He subsequently worked for nearly 15 years at St. John's Medial College Hospital. His interests are Neuro Oncology, Skull Base Surgery, Vascular Neurosurgery besides Neuro Critical Care.       Dr.Arun L Naik, is a senior neurosurgeon was graduated from Karnataka Medical College, Hubli. Subsequently he was trained at the prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi in General Surgery and Neurosurgery. He has also worked at Sri Sathya Sai Institue of Higher Medical Sciences, Bangalore and HOSMAT Hospital, Bangalore. His special interest is in the field of Spine surgery, Neuro navigation, Functional Neurosurgery, Endoscopic Neurosurgery etc.       Dr.Abilash Bansal, is a graduate from Government Medical College, Amritsar, Punjab. He did his post graduation from Manipal Hospital, Bangalore. Thereafter he began working at ANSI as a Junior Consultant. His field of interests are Functional Neurosurgery, Spine Surgery and Skull Base Surgery. He has been actively involved in several international trials investigating head injury, Alzhiemer's Disease and Neuro degenerative Disease.       Dr. Vineesh Varghese, is a graduate from M.S. Ramaiah Medical College Hospital, Bangalore. He did his M Ch in Neurosurgery from Christian Medical College, Vellore. Dr. Vineesh is currently working as In-House consultant in ANSI. His interests are in Spine Surgery, Epilepsy Surgery, Functional Neurosurgery and Trauma Surgery.       Dr.Kishore Shetty, is a graduate from Government Medical College, Bellary, Karnataka. He did his Postgraduate training in the Department of Neurosurgery from Medical Trust Hospital, Cochin, Kerala. He is presently working as Registrar at ANSI. His field of interest are Skull Base Surgery, Endoscopic Surgery, Vascular Surgery, Spine Surgery.       Dr.Paparaja Murthy, is a graduate from Government Medical College, Guntur, Andhra Pradesh. He did his Postgraduate training in the Department of Neurosurgery from Medical Trust Hospital, Cochin, Kerala. There after he worked as Registrar at Apollo Hospitals Dhaka, Bangladesh for nearly 3 years and is presently working as Registrar at ANSI. His field of interest are Spine Surgery, Vascular Surgery and Pediatric Neurosurgery.       Dr. Pramod M N did his graduation from Mysore Medical College and DM Neurology from NIMHANS, Bangalore. His areas of interest include epilepsy, headache, stroke and peripheral neuropathies.       Dr. Prahalad       Dr. Vishwanath V Bellad, is Consultant Pulmonologist, graduated from J.N. Medical College, Belgaum and completed DNB Respiratory Diseases from Lokmanya Tilak Municipal General Hospital, Sion, Mumbai. He has worked as Pulmonologist and Intensivist at HOSMAT Bangalore.
